Celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival with Xiamen’s Traditional Bo Bing Game

The Mid-Autumn Festival is one of the most important traditional festivals in China. In Xiamen and the surrounding Minnan region, the festival also comes with a distinctive local tradition: Bo Bing. Bo Bing is a traditional Mid-Autumn dice game closely associated with Xiamen culture and is recognized as part of China’s national intangible cultural heritage. During the festival season, it is common to see the game played at family gatherings, community events and company celebrations across the city. This year, our team held our own Bo Bing gathering in the open area on the second floor of our facility.The setup is simple: a large bowl, six dice and a table full of prizes. Team members take turns throwing all six dice into the bowl, and different combinations determine which prize can be won. There is plenty of noise when the dice hit the bowl, especially when someone gets close to one of the higher-ranking combinations. For our team, the event is less about the prizes and more about spending some time together away from drawings, production schedules, machines and project discussions. As a manufacturing company based in Xiamen, traditions like Bo Bing are also part of the local culture that surrounds our everyday work. Outdoor Metal Products Loaded for a Netherlands Project

A batch of custom outdoor metal products for a customer project in the Netherlands was completed and loaded for export this week. The order took approximately 30 days from production start to final packing. Products were manufactured according to the approved project requirements, followed by final inspection and preparation for shipment. For this order, the finished packages were designed with consistent outer dimensions. This made the loading process more straightforward and allowed the cartons to be arranged more efficiently inside the container. During container loading, the team checked the packing condition and planned the carton arrangement based on the available container space. With standardized package sizes, the products could be stacked and positioned more closely while still allowing safe handling during loading. For overseas OEM and wholesale projects, packaging is not only about protecting the product. Package dimensions can also affect container utilization, shipping volume and overall logistics cost.
